The role of Wakefield is a beast, and Cranston, rising to the challenges set by director Robin Swicord, gives it everything he's got. His award-caliber performance is astounding to watch.

Confident she will find a match made in heaven, she books a venue, sends out invitations and buys a wedding dress, as her skeptical mother and sister look on with trepidation. During Michal’s month-long search for a spouse, she enlists the help of two different matchmakers, goes on a series of disastrous blind dates and finds an unexpected connection with a charming but utterly unsuitable pop star (Oz Zehavi) – all while dismissing pleas by concerned friends and family members that she reconsider her risky plan. Director: Terence Davies
Writer(s): Terence Davies
Cast: Cynthia Nixon, Jennifer Ehle, Duncan Duff
Cynthia Nixon delivers a triumphant performance as Emily Dickinson as she personifies the wit, intellectual independence and pathos of the poet whose genius only came to be recognized after her death. Acclaimed British director Terence Davies (House of Mirth, The Deep Blue Sea) exquisitely evokes Dickinson’s deep attachment to her close knit family along with the manners, mores and spiritual convictions of her time that she struggled with and transcended in her poetry.

A brilliant chronicling of a life lived quietly, one that is sweeping in its emotional depth rather than its narrative scope.

GROW HOUSE: Last Day Thursday, April 27th
Watch Trailer
Director: DJ Pooh
Writer(s): DJ Pooh
There’s a boom in medical marijuana dispensaries in the state of California and the U.S. These facilities have reached record numbers, cropping up like Starbucks or McDonald’s. States across the nation are legalizing medical and recreational marijuana. Our two unlikely heroes, Pat (DeRay Davis – “EMPIRE,” “21 Jump Street,” “GI Joe”) and Darius (Lil’ Duval – “Scary Movie 5,” “Meet the Blacks”), figure they can help the medical marijuana movement, but mainly help themselves by trying to grow their own cannabis and selling their crop to the dispensaries. There’s only one problem… knowing how to smoke marijuana doesn’t mean you know how to grow it! After taking a trip to Dr. Doobie (Malcolm McDowell – “Entourage”, “The Mentalist,” “Home Alone”) to become legally certified growers, they gain access to a Bel-Air mansion to use as a “grow house.” Although they convince Snoop Dogg (played as himself) to fund their operation, our heroes soon discover what can grow wrong, will go wrong in this comedy of errors.
