The Center for Law, Justice & Culture and Ohio Innocence Project present From Death Row to Freedom: A Story of Wrongful Conviction on Tuesday, February 13th at 7pm. Admission is free.

Lamont Hunter spent 15 years on Ohio’s death row. He was convicted and sentenced to death in 2007 on charges of child endangerment, aggravated murder and rape in the death of his 3-year-old son, Trustin, who suffered fatal injuries after accidentally falling down the stairs.

Lamont Hunter will be present with his attorney at OU alum Erin Gallagher Barnhart, Esq., Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Capital Habeas Unit and Pierce Reed, Esq., Ohio Innocence Project, and Dr. Amanda Cox, CLJC affiliated faculty and Associate Professor of Sociology.
