About the Film
Jamie (Margaret Qualley) and Marian (Geraldine Viswanathan) are two friends who set out on a road trip to Tallahassee in order to get a change of scenery. Jamie has recently broken up with her girlfriend and asks Marian to come along for moral support. Everything is hunky-dory until the two dolls cross paths with a group of bumbling brigands who will stop at nothing to bring Jamie and Marian’s good time to an end.
Directed by the “Ethan” half of the illustrious Coen Brothers, and co-written by Ethan and his wife Tricia Cooke, DRIVE AWAY DOLLS takes some cues from the playbook of 1970’s exploitation films and features a supporting cast that includes Pedro Pascal, Matt Damon, and Beanie Feldstein.
