Let’s be honest – it’s not easy to make a new friend during middle-age. Craig Waterman (Robinson) knows this first-hand, living a quiet, unassuming life as a suburban husband and father. One day, however, his uninteresting life gets a jolt when a new neighbor Austin (Rudd) shows up on his street. The two men start hanging out together and Craig discovers, with Austin’s help, he’s coming out of his shell for the first time in ages. Things go terribly awry, however, when Craig tries a little too hard to keep the friendship going strong.
