LOVING VINCENT AT THE ATHENA: Paint & Sip

Calling all cinephiles and Impression-able artists – We’ve got the perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day!

We’re thrilled to announce our next movie-themed paint & sip event: Loving Vincent at the Athena, inspired by the world-renown painter Vincent Van Gogh! Van Gogh’s work has stood the test of time, filled museums around the world, and continues to move and enchant viewers of all ages with its rich colors, interesting subject matter, and fluid technique. Not only that, but the life story of Van Gogh himself has kept fans and scholars busy for more than a century trying to get to the heart of what propelled his rise to greatness and his tragic decent into madness.

OHIO Graduate Art Student Brooke Ripley will lead a 2 hour course that will guide you thru the creation of a Van Gogh-esque painting inspired by the master’s iconic style.
