About the speakers
David Rudolf and Sonya Pfeiffer are a husband-and-wife duo of accomplished attorneys renown for their work in criminal defense, with a particular emphasis on wrongful convictions. They are also the co-hosts of the podcast Abuse of Power which focuses on the flaws in our nation’s justice system. David Rudolf was the defense attorney featured in the hit Netflix documentary series The Staircase which detailed the dramatic murder trial of author Michael Peterson, and Sonya covered the case as a journalist. The pair continues to litigate many cases together, as well as being advocates against injustice.
