They’re creepy and they’re kooky. Mysterious and spooky. They’re altogether ooky…The Addams Family!
That’s right – the scarily entertaining family of classic TV made their big screen debut in this fun film starring Angelica Houston, Christopher Lloyd, Raoul Julia, and Christina Ricci. The Addams clan – Morticia, Gomez, Wednesday, Pugsley, Grandmama, and Lurch the Butler – one day receive a visit from Gomez’s long-lost brother Uncle Fester. Or, so they think! The visitor is actually Gordon Craven, the son of a con-artist and a dead-ringer for the missing Fester, who has shown up at the Addams estate in order to sniff out a vault wherein lies the Addams’s fortune. However, the underhanded heist starts to unravel when Gomez and Morticia begin to suspect something weird about Mr. Craven…it may be that he is family, after all!
