In the cut-throat world of the skincare industry, “reputation is everything.” So says Hope Goldman (Elizabeth Banks), an L.A. facialist who has big plans to launch her own line of beauty care products in an attempt to finally achieve the fame and fortune embodied by the American Dream. When a rival, Angel Vergara (Luis Gerardo Méndez), opens a shop across the street Goldman soon finds herself embroiled in a fight for dominance. Making matters worse, Vergara seems to be playing a dirty game, forcing Goldman to question how far she’s willing to go to keep her brand on top. She’ll discover that the skin she started with won’t be the same as what she ends up with.

Directed by Austin Peters, this exciting thriller is an exploration of the demands of success and the lengths to which people will go in order to be the best. The supporting cast features solid performances from Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Serenity, Castle), Lewis Pullman (Top Gun: Maverick, Catch-22), and MJ Rodriguez (Nurse Jackie, Luke Cage).
