Based on a true story, Song Sung Blue follows husband-and-wife duo Mike and Claire Sardina who make a living (or, at least, try to) as a one-of-a-kind Neil Diamond tribute act from Milwaukee called “Thunder & Lightning”. While they’re 100% committed to giving audiences the most jaw-dropping performances of ersatz Diamond tunes they can muster each night, they still struggle with the realities and stresses of life in showbiz. On their musical journey, the two lovers experience all the highs and lows common to being in the spotlight, but, even when the road gets tough, they still find a way to rely on one another and put on an inspiring show that would make Mr. Diamond proud!
