Writer(s): Alex Garland
Cast: Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes, Jack O'Connell

Director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland team up once again for the latest addition to the 28 Later film franchise…the first of two sequels in the epic series of post-apocalyptic zombie films!

Twenty-eight years ago, the “Rage” virus overcame a medical research facility’s security measures intended to prevent its spread into the public sphere, resulting in the near-total-collapse of society as we know it. Nevertheless, in the ensuing years, survivors have successfully figured out ways to live in spite of the virus’s constant threat, with one large group having self-quarantined their selves on an island the only access to which is a heavily-defended causeway. A father and son opt to leave the shelter of the island and embark on an exploration of the mainland now that so much time has passed since the initial outbreak. What they discover, however, is that the insidious reach of the virus has had a terrible impact on not only the infected but on those who survived as well.
