Although he was successfully able to protect his family, he begins to change into something bestial that will truly threaten their safety.

The year is 1976, and British teacher Tom Michell (Steve Coogan) has taken a job as an educator – he’ll be responsible for teaching English to a group of unruly young students – in Argentina, which is on the brink of political and social upheaval with a coup imminent. Due to the urban chaos, the school opts to close for a week and Michell decides to go to the coast for a holiday. While at the beach, he rescues a penguin from an oil slick and the cute little animal takes a deep liking to its savior. Michell, however, doesn’t feel the same…at least not at first. As it turns out, the penguin not only helps Michell improve the performance of his students, but also ultimately teaches the teacher something about himself.
Based on true events and featuring a solid performance from Steve Coogan, The Penguin Lessons is the latest film from Oscar-nominated filmmaker Peter Cattaneo who directed The Full Monty.

After the death of his wife, visionary entrepreneur Karsh, as a way to soothe his deep grief, creates an innovative (and controversial) technology that provides him with a means to monitor and stay connected with his wife’s corpse which has now been interred in her grave – a shroud comprised of hi-tech components that allows the living to watch the body of the deceased as it decomposes. When the cemetery where her body lies is vandalized, Karsh vows to find the culprits and make them atone for their transgression.
From critically-acclaimed Canadian filmmaker David Cronenberg, considered a master of the “body horror” genre due to the success of films like Scanners, Videodrome, and The Fly, The Shrouds is an eerie and thought-provoking examination of the obsession with life, death, and grief.

Director James Gunn ushers in the on-screen return one of the greatest superheroes of all time…Superman!
Reporter Clark Kent has divulged his secret identity as The Man of Steel to his colleague (and romantic flame) Lois Lane and, after stopping a potentially earth-shattering armed conflict, agrees to let Lane interview him. It becomes clear that Superman’s perception of his role as a protector of the people of Earth is a bit at odds with governments, militaries, and other powerful forces that are also vying for a stake in world events. In other words, Superman believes that he stands for ideals like Truth, Justice, Humanitarianism, and, essentially, Goodness; however, the complex modern world that he inhabits is not always capable of valuing these ideals to the same degree. Therefore, he must do his utmost to bring into balance the otherworldly gifts that come with being a Kryptonian with what it means to be human.

In the spring of 1997, musician Jeff Buckley was on the verge of massive critical success when, due to a freak accident, he drowned in a tributary of the Mississippi River just outside of Memphis where he was working on his second album.
