After moving to the country, Tim and Millie embark on a hike and inadvertently fall into an old abandoned cave where they decide to seek shelter due to a torrential rainstorm. During the night, Tim drinks from a strange pool he finds within the confines of the cavern. When the couple wakes the next morning, they’re unsettled to find that their limbs seem to be stuck together, although they are able to easily separate them and make their way back home. Over the next several days, however, Tim’s behavior grows erratic and he begins suffering unusual spells of intense physical attraction towards Millie. As time goes on, the couple learn more about the mysterious cave and just how deep their newfound connection to one another can get.
