He decides to flee Tehran with his family. When they reach safety, Iman puts his own family on trial, hoping to clear his name; however, he may instead end up destroying the last thread of stability in his unravelling life.

Written and directed by Mohammad Rasoulof, The Seed of The Sacred Fig is a critically-acclaimed drama about how keeping secrets from those you love can be the most destructive decision one can make in one’s life.
