COYOTE VS. ACME

Todays Show Times: 3:055:207:359:15

Watch Trailer

The lines between Looney Tunes and real life get blurred in this latest animated action-comedy, featuring the world’s biggest glutton for punishment…Wile E. Coyote!

You know the story (mostly): It seems that every time desert denizen Wile E. Coyote uses a product made by the notorious Acme Corporation to put an end to his road-running nemesis, it backfires on him. That may change, however. One day, whist cooking up a scheme, our (unfortunate) hero sees a commercial advertising the services of washed-up human billboard attorney Kevin Avery (played by SNL alum Will Forte). Coyote decides the day has come to what what we in the USA do best…litigate! Wile hires Avery to represent him in a lawsuit against Acme, and the two strike up a friendship that gets the ball rolling to potentially win the case. However, they might get more than they bargained for — Acme, as it turns, out is represented by high-powered attorney ZBuddy Crane (John Cena), Avery’s former boss and a formidable foe in the arena of  justice!

LATE FAME – Last Day: Thursday, September 10th

Watch Trailer

Willem Dafoe and Greta Lee star in a new film written by Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Samy Burch which offers a modern take on the classic satirical novella by 19th century Austrian author Arthur Schnitzler!

Ed Saxberger (Dafoe) plays a poet who has chased fame unsuccessfully for decades, and who has found a second life as a postal worker. When a young admirer appears on his doorstep out of the blue, Saxberger is suddenly thrust into a milieu of newfound attention in his work by a group of young writers and artists, and he gets a fresh burst of inspiration to once again flex his creative muscles. It is not long, however, before this renewed attention begins to go to Saxberger’s head — especially the attention lavished upon his by an alluring actress named Gloria (Lee). As a consequence, Saxberger must begin to reckon with the genuineness of the new poetic circle he has suddenly found himself a part of.
